Where Our Funds Go
Joining Jack is committed to ensuring that as much as possible of our funds goes to developing research into a treatment or a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. We are particularly focused on transitional research, research that takes potential therapeutics out of laboratories and into clinical trials.
After trying hard to raise as much money as we can since we launched Joining Jack in 2012, we have recently found ourselves to be in a position to begin the fight against DMD in earnest.
Working closely with our trusted team of scientific advisors, we have made our first major decisions on how to spend the funds that we have raised. The projects that Joining Jack has decided to contribute to have been judged by our advisors to be the most promising in the field - the ones that, should the research continue, will have the best chance of finding a cure for the thousands of sufferers out there with DMD.
